BristolFurs mascot competition

One thing that’s been missing in BristolFurs are some characters to call our own: mascots!

We figured that we should sort this out, and we would like the community to help. As such, we’re launching a mascot competition!

This isn’t an art competition. We’re looking for interesting character designs, names, and stories, not quality artwork. We have templates available for the less artistically inclined, provided by Valleycore.

Creators of the winning submissions will receive free copies of any future BristolFurs merchandise featuring their mascot design, forever!

Entries close on 5th July 2026.

About the competition

We’re looking for three new mascots to represent and celebrate the diversity of people who attend our meets: one who presents as male, one who presents as female, and one who presents as non-binary. As such, there will be three winning entries.

You can choose from a range of species that we feel best represent Bristol’s culture, heritage, and local wildlife.
